To enhance the well-being of the people in Litchfield and the surrounding area by making nutritionally, environmentally and socially healthy products easy to learn about and readily available.
Our Approach
The Natural Food co-op prioritizes the well-being of the people it serves, the community's vitality, and promotes fair trade and sustainable environmental practices, rather than focusing solely on economic profit like traditional stores.
We are continually educating ourselves about new products, and new research developments that affect the food, health and environment of our customers. We pass along the information to our customers and in turn support them in making conscientious choices which affect themselves and their families.
Our Community
We collaborate with nearby organic growers and CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy while promoting responsible environmental practices.
In July 2017, we introduced the Co-op Community Donation Program, a new way for customers to participate in this commitment. This simple yet powerful community giving program allows customers to “round-up” their grocery bill for recipient organizations that share our commitment to a healthy, happy community.
